Dr. Dana Miller, General Surgeon, earned her Doctor of Medicine from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts in 1994. She completed her undergraduate studies at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas and completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry at the University of Oklahoma in Norman.

Dr. Miller is trained in trauma and critical care. She completed a Trauma Fellowship and Critical Care Fellowship at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. and then went on to work trauma and critical care for six years at Rochester General Hospital in New York. She also worked for three years at Wayne Community Hospital as a General Surgeon before making the move out west to CVRMC.

Dr. Miller came to CVRMC in July of 2008 as a General Surgeon. She is also specialized in laser ablation treating varicose veins. She states, "It's been a pleasure to serve the people of this region and I'm looking forward to many more years."

Dr. Randy Hansen, General Surgeon is a Diplomat with the National Board of Medical Examiners and is also Board Certified with the American Board of Surgery. He earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology and his Medical Doctor degree from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He completed his Internship and Residency at the Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix where he also served as Chief Resident of General Surgery.

Dr. Hansen's advanced medical education includes Endoscopic Carpal Tunnel Release, Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery, Procedures for Prolapse and Hemorrhoids, and Nissen Fundoplication. He has had extensive training in minimally invasive surgery, soft tissue hand surgery and many other surgical procedures.

Serving in the United States Army Reserve since 1977, Dr. Hansen retired in March with 37 years of active and reserve duty. He was deployed on 4 missions including Baghdad, Iraq with a forward surgical team and Camp Arifjan, Kuwait with a combat support hospital as part of the Medical Corp.

Computers, competitive amateur ballroom dancing, SCUBA diving, and technical support for Microsoft Gaming are activities Dr. Hansen enjoys outside of the operating room.
